Our solution and infrastructure leverage Amazon AWS, a cloud service provider compliant with a variety of security best practices and IT security standards, including SOC 1/2/3, FISMA, and ISO 9001. Additional security measures include redundancies across data centers to provide high uptime and avoid disruption.

With robust external audits, Juniper Square ensures all customers can meet the security requirements of the most stringent investors. Juniper Square conducts annual SOC 1 Type 2 and SOC 2 Type 2 Assessments for the Security and Availability trust principles of the System and Organization Controls (SOC) description criteria as established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Additionally, Juniper Square undergoes routine 3rd party penetration testing.

Our bank-grade encryption standards keep your data secure no matter where you access your data from. Data, documents, and other media are encrypted at rest using 256-bit AES encryption. Data transmitted between a user’s web browser and Juniper Square is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS, also known as SSL) technology.

Protect your staff and investors from password-reuse and vulnerabilities. Two-factor authentication is available for all end-users, including both staff users of Juniper Square and investors who use the portal. A strong password policy is enforced for all accounts, including both staff users of Juniper Square and investors who use the portal. Enterprise customers can sign in to Juniper Square using their organization’s single sign-on, further improving security and access controls.

Client-managed security measures give you precise control over every aspect of your data. Juniper Square provides capabilities around role-based permissions to restrict access to sensitive information, exporting sensitive information, and securely encrypting sensitive PDFs with document passwords. Automatic audit logging ensures changes and updates to investor data in your workspace is actively tracked in a central log.
